What Is Saju?
Saju (四柱, "Four Pillars") is the Korean classical astrology system that maps your birth moment onto four pillars — Year, Month, Day, and Hour — each holding a Heavenly Stem (천간) and an Earthly Branch (지지). Together they form eight characters (팔자), revealing your elemental make-up, natural strengths, and life timing.
Unlike Western sun-sign astrology, Saju centers on your Day Master (일간) — the Heavenly Stem of your birth day — as the lens through which your whole chart is read.
