Article 1 (Nature of Products Sold)
The paid products sold by ‘Sajurang’ (sajurang.org, hereinafter the “Service”) are digital content, such as AI-generated Saju reports. Such content is generated and made available for viewing immediately upon the user’s request after payment.
Article 2 (Principle of Withdrawal of Subscription)
Pursuant to the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc., a user may withdraw their subscription within 7 days from the date of payment or the date the content becomes available for use.
Article 3 (Restrictions on Withdrawal and Prior Consent)
However, pursuant to Article 17(2) of the same Act, a user’s withdrawal of subscription may be restricted in the following cases. The Company clearly notifies the user of this on the payment screen, and the user is deemed to have agreed to the following upon payment.
- Content generated and viewed immediately: Where content, such as a Saju report, is generated immediately upon payment and all or part of it has been provided to and viewed by the user, withdrawal of subscription for such content is restricted.
- This is because, by the nature of digital content, once it has been generated and viewed, its value has been realized and restitution to the original state is impossible.
- Accordingly, where a user proceeds with payment having agreed at the time of payment that “content is generated and provided immediately after payment, and withdrawal of subscription is restricted accordingly,” refunds may be restricted after the content has actually been generated and viewed.
- Conversely, where the content has not yet been generated or viewed after payment, withdrawal of subscription and a full refund are available within the period set forth in Article 2.
Article 4 (Party Handling Payment and Refunds)
Paid transactions of the Service are processed through Paddle, the Merchant of Record. Accordingly, refunds are also processed through Paddle, and upon approval of a refund, the amount is returned to the payment method used at the time of payment. The time required to process a refund may vary depending on the payment method and the circumstances of the card issuer or bank.
Article 5 (Refund Request Procedure)
- A user seeking a refund shall submit a request to the contact below, stating the payment date, order number, and reason for the refund.
- After receiving the request, the Company will verify whether withdrawal of subscription is available under Article 3 and inform the user of the outcome.
- A user may also request a refund directly through the Paddle receipt email sent at the time of payment.
- Refund inquiries: muso27723@gmail.com
Article 6 (Partial Refunds and Handling of Erroneous Payments)
- Where multiple ‘Pings’ or items of content are paid for in a single transaction, a partial refund is available only for the portion not yet used or viewed.
- For payments arising from causes attributable to the Company, such as duplicate charges due to system error, non-delivery, or incorrect payment amounts, a full refund will be made.
Article 7 (Payments by Minors)
Where a minor makes a payment without the consent of their legal representative, the minor or the legal representative may cancel such payment. However, this does not apply where cancellation is restricted under applicable law, such as where the minor paid using property that the legal representative permitted them to dispose of, or where the minor used deception to make others believe they were of age.
Other terms of use for paid services are governed by the Terms of Service.
