Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms are intended to set forth the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Company and Users, as well as other necessary matters, in connection with the use of the ‘Sajurang’ service (the website sajurang.org and all related services, hereinafter the “Service”) provided by Milo (hereinafter the “Company”).

Article 2 (Definitions)

1. “Service” means the AI-based Saju (Four Pillars) reading provided by the Company and all services incidental thereto.
2. “User” means a member or non-member who uses the Service provided by the Company in accordance with these Terms.
3. “Member” means a person who logs in through a Kakao account and can continuously use the Service provided by the Company.
4. “Ping” means the payment unit used within the Service to access paid content.

Article 3 (Contents of the Service)

1. The Service generates and provides readings based on Saju-Myeongri (Four Pillars astrology) using artificial intelligence (AI) technology, based on the User’s date of birth, time of birth, gender, and other information entered by the User.
2. All readings and content provided by the Service are offered for entertainment and reference purposes only and are not scientifically or statistically verified facts.
3. The contents of the Service do not constitute, and cannot replace, any professional advice such as medical, legal, tax, or investment advice. Users must consult a professional in the relevant field when making important decisions, and the User is solely responsible for any results arising from reliance on the contents of the Service.

Article 4 (Registration and Account)

1. A User applies for registration via social login through a Kakao account, and registration is completed when the Company accepts such application.
2. A Member is responsible for managing their account with the care of a good manager, and the Member bears responsibility for any damages arising from unauthorized use of the account.
3. A Member may request withdrawal of membership at any time through functions within the Service or procedures guided by the Company, and the Company shall process such request in accordance with applicable laws.

Article 5 (Paid Services and Payment)

1. Certain digital content within the Service, such as some Saju reports, is provided for a fee, and Users may purchase ‘Ping’ to access such content.
2. Payment for paid services is processed through Paddle, the payment service provider designated by the Company. As the Merchant of Record (MoR) for the sale of digital content in this Service, Paddle handles payment processing, issuance of receipts, and the collection and remittance of applicable taxes.
3. Specific transaction terms such as payment method, price, and payment currency are displayed on the payment screen, and the User proceeds with payment after reviewing and agreeing to such terms before payment.
4. Matters concerning withdrawal of subscription and refunds for paid services are governed by the separate Refund Policy.

Article 6 (User Obligations and Prohibited Conduct)

Users shall not engage in any of the following conduct in connection with the use of the Service.

1. Misappropriating another person’s information or entering false information;
2. Reproducing, distributing, or transmitting the Service or its content for commercial purposes without the Company’s prior consent;
3. Interfering with the normal operation of the Service or accessing the system in an abnormal manner;
4. Any conduct that violates laws or public order and good morals.

Article 7 (Intellectual Property Rights)

1. The copyrights and other intellectual property rights in the Service and the works included in the Service belong to the Company.
2. Users shall not use, for commercial purposes, information obtained through use of the Service provided by the Company, nor allow a third party to use such information, without the Company’s prior consent.

Article 8 (Limitation of Liability)

1. The Company shall not be liable where it is unable to provide the Service due to acts of God, force majeure, causes attributable to the User, or reasons beyond the Company’s reasonable control.
2. Because the readings provided by the Service under Article 3 of these Terms are information for entertainment and reference purposes, the Company does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of such content, and shall not be liable, to the extent permitted by applicable law, for any damages arising from judgments or actions taken by the User based on such content.

Article 9 (Amendment of Terms)

1. The Company may amend these Terms to the extent that it does not violate applicable laws.
2. When amending the Terms, the Company shall announce the effective date and the reason for the amendment within the Service from 7 days before the effective date. However, in the case of changes unfavorable to Users, the Company shall provide notice from 30 days before.

Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, and any dispute arising in connection with the use of the Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the court determined by the procedures prescribed under applicable laws.
